BOURJOIS MEGA LINER REVIEW
Felt-tip Eyeliner
Extra Large Flick
Very Long Lasting (Up to 24hr)
The 3 points above are literally what is written on the
eyeliner packaging itself… And to be honest, they haven’t lied to you.
I quite like felt-tip eyeliners but I especially like normal
liquid liners with an in-built brush, and I have always sworn by one – Heroine
Make Kiss Me Liquid Eyeliner. So, today, I’m not going to compare the 2 I want
this purely to be a review of the Bourjois one, but if you ask me, I still
swear by Heroine Make.
Ok, let’s get back on track… Why did I buy this product? The
truth is, I didn’t… It was an offer which was on at Boots when I bought other
make up products, I believe the offer was buy-this-certain-product and
get-this-free, the free product being a choice between 2 eyeliners, I don’t
remember what the other one was, I did an “ip-dip-do” to choose between the 2.
As I’ve been so used to using a brush to apply liner, be it
the in-built liquid liners, or gel liners, so it was a little weird using a
felt-tip liner so it took quite a while to get any practice, and when I got
better at it, I gave up and switched back to gel liner again. One thing I do
like about this liner is that it doesn’t smudge too easily, it is really,
really black (01 Dark Black) and it really is quite long lasting, which is the
most important thing!
The tip is slanted and it is quite big, it’s literally as if
I’m using a Sharpie to line my eyes, so I think the thickness and “bigness” of
it put me off it, it made it a little harder to use.
I think if this liner was not so “mega” then it would
attract me more, it’s not as if I always fine line my eyes or whatever, but I
like to slowly build up a thickness for my eyeliner. It does prove quite hard
to get a fine line with this eyeliner.
I guess this liner is not really made for me, but it
certainly does work as a long lasting, smudge free liner.

Hi Sonja, thank you!
DeleteI cannot wait to do this Beauty Tag, I'm going over to your blog to read yours first, hopefully I can get mine published asap! Thank you so much for tagging me b xxx
I think they were onto something good making a slanted tip (to help with cat eye flicks) but it's a shame it was a little on the chunky side. To be honest, I've found that all felt tip eyeliners create lines that are a little too thick and chunky for my liking. I think I'll just have to stick to liquid liner! xo

Hi Megan,
DeleteThank you for your comment! I think that's exactly what I was feeling when I was using it, I do like how it's a super waterproof liner but as it's not a fine brush, it didn't seem to work for me. However, it is a good product I guess? But, I have to agree with you! I'm going to stick to liquid liner too ;)
