If you read my previous blog post on VASELINE'S SPRAY & GO you'll have already found out that, I obviously didn't do so great with packing my stuff properly for my stay at my parents' place.

I forgot my moisturiser, I actually forgot facial moisturiser too, but I made do with the eye cream that I actually managed to bring along with me... I forgot make up remover, so it was basically a DISASTER.

So now I want to tell you about this product, Garnier's Micellar Cleansing Water. I have actually watched some videos on YouTube where some beauty gurus have compared this stuff to Bioderma's cleansing water and they said that if you can't splash out on Bioderma, or even access it easily, then Garnier's Micellar Cleansing Water is a very good drugstore dupe.

I personally haven't yet tried Bioderma's cleansing water, so it is on my list for the next things to try, so hopefully by then I'll be able to do a comparison view on the two products for you all to see.

Garnier's cleansing water is so pure, it literally feels like I'm wiping my face with water, it's odourless, colourless but it's smoother than water. I can't use this to remove my mascara, as I have said on my blog many times before, my mascara is like superglue, once it is on, there's not many things I can use to take it off.

However, this cleansing water does clean off the rest of my make up and even helps to get rid of any SPF I have put on my face that day.

So what I do with this product is after applying my mascara remover on my lashes, I soak two cotton pads in this water and then leave them on my eyes for a few seconds to help remove the mascara, after removing the mascara, I will get two new pads, soak them and then wipe the rest of the face.
On the label of the product itself, it actually says you don't need to rinse your face after, but to me, that sounds disgusting, because I'm sure some of the residue of makeup is clogged up inside my pores or whatever, so then I go on to do my normal skin care routine afterwards.

Even on a non make up day, I like to use this along with my cleansing routine because it does make my skin feel super smooth. This Garnier cleansing water is also very suitable for those with sensitive or dry skin, so don't worry, it really is worth the try. One very important point is that... If you get any of this product in your eyes, with or without contact lenses, it doesn't sting, hurt or leave your eyes oily like some make up removers do.

I've had the bottle for about 2 weeks now, and by the photos, you can see that I still have PLENTY left. The bottle design is a little bulky, but the lid and how you get the product out is fine, you don't end up wasting any of it. I HATE it when some of the make up removers just spill out and end up all over my make up table, and this is not one of them.

So as I have said, I've been using this for about 2 weeks and my skin has been fine, no breakouts, no dry patches, no redness, nothing... I reckon you should all give this a try if you want to try a cleansing water and can't access some of the ones you see other bloggers or YouTubers using, it only costs 2.99GBP at Boots, and if it works for you, why not?
