Firstly I would like to wish you all the best for 2015, I hope it brings you new adventures in all aspects of your life!
I wish you great health, great jobs - old and new, great relationships and of course great long-lasting friendships!
I can't believe 2014 is over already, where has all the time just disappeared to?
I say this every year, "NEW YEAR, NEW ME".. not so much a "new" me, but a better me. I want to be better than I ever have been and maybe this is the year it happens!
I'm so sorry I've disappeared for such a long time, I hope you haven't missed me too much.
It's probably been quite a few weeks since my last post as I was on holiday throughout December! So now, it is time to finally get back on track. Before I get back to normal blogging, I'd like to share with you what I have been doing during December. I haven't done a post like this one since the MSN days, so it is a bit of a change! I just want to be able to let you catch up with my life away from beauty blogging.
Of course, I could write out an itinerary and journal of every day throughout December, but that would be boring, so let's start with this "here's what I made earlier" moment...
For those of you who don't know, I participated in VLOGMAS on Youtube...
This means, I vlogged everyday from the 1st - 25th December, so I'll leave you with the video playlist at the end of this post, but first, below, I've written out what sort of things we did on certain days of December, so you can easily skip through the VLOGMAS days that you might not want to see...
And...I named my series #JYUKIMIMAS.
1st - 4th December
I spent these few days getting all my things together and packed my luggage in time for my few week trip away. It involved a lot of "last-minute shopping", as I had quite a few items to buy to bring over to family in Hong Kong... Including Christmas presents of course.
My son didn't go on holiday with us this time, as we had to travel to Thailand and my mother-in-law felt it would be safer and more convenient if we left him with her... So we had to say Goodbye to Rico for a few weeks, it was a sad sad sad moment...
5th - 11th December
These few days were spent in Hong Kong, a lot of shopping, eating and festive drinking... I know the festive season is not really an excuse to start binge drinking but I had quite a few friends to see in Hong Kong and as they work during the day, the only activity we could do at night involved bars...
You also get to see where we stayed in Hong Kong and you get to see a few members of my family that you've never seen before...
12th - 20th December
So we flew out to Thailand, and this was where the mayhem started.
The reason we had to go to Thailand was because our friends were getting married over there, there was a big group of us who went together, some flew from the UK, some from Hong Kong and some I haven't seen for around 5-6 years or so! So, it was great to see them all again.
We stayed in a hotel, 2 resorts, a villa and finally in another hotel, so there was a to of moving around and travelling, but it was so much fun as we were in such a big group. I did "room tours" of each of the rooms, so you get to see what sort of places we stayed in...
21st - 22nd December
We headed back to Hong Kong for a couple of days, spent more time with family and even went to visit my husband's tiny little Grandma. We did our last-minute Christmas shopping JUST in time for Christmas and enjoyed some Hong Kong food before getting ready to head back to reality.
23rd - 25th December
Our holiday ended and we had to fly back to the UK, it was a sad moment, but I was so excited to be able to be reunited with my baby boy!
My son was super spoilt this Christmas and you'll get to see his very own "What I Got For Christmas" section in the final Vlog for VLOGMAS.
So these are the things I got up to this Christmas holiday and I had so much fun filming and editing these videos for you, so I really hope you enjoy each and everyone of them!
Yet again, I hope you all have a great 2015 and thank you all for supporting me, you are my motivation!
Before I head off to bed, I'll leave you with my VLOGMAS playlist!
